A lot of people seem to get upset when their partner tells them that they’re not the type they usually go for. They feel that their partner is just settling for them because their type doesn’t want them.
This isn’t true imo. The fact that someone chose you despite you not being their type is good thing.
It shows that you have such good qualities they were willing to step out of their comfort zone and choose personal growth for the sake of you.
We are creatures of habit. It’s so hard for people to break away from familiar habits and comforts. For you to be the one they do that for can only signify that you are of great quality.
