You have to be blind to really think that anime have more variety in artstyles than cartoons

Of course if you use the furthest examples of the spectrum lik shin chan and jojo bizzare adventures it looks diffrent but most anime being produced (not manga or the popular anime) look very similar and not so varied like the avarge cartoon. Most people like the basic , dear i say it, anime artstyle. Thats why there aren't that much variety. Including the producing process
