You can’t simultaneously agree that money doesn’t equal merit and then also use the term “broke” as an insult

So many people claim to be concerned with wealth inequality and acknowledge the fundamental unfairness built into our economy.

However, many of these same people, the moment they dislike someone who has less money - will pull out “broke” or “broke bitch” as an insult.

It seems wildly intellectually inconsistent. It’s also super common.
