why does my boyfriend "dribble" when he gets into bed?

It's awkward and I don't want to make him feel uncomfortable asking about it, but every night before bed, he goes to the washroom to pee, but when he gets into bed he lets out a bit of pee into his underwear. It's not a big deal, and I don't want to make him feel bad about it... but why does this happen?
