“We should catch up soon” has to be the most polite way of saying absolutely nothing 😭
It sounds nice, it feels friendly… but let’s be honest most of the time it’s just a social placeholder. No date, no plan, no follow-up.
And the funny part? We all do it. It’s like an unspoken agreement to keep things warm without actually turning the heat on.
At this point, I trust “let’s catch up” only when there’s a time, a place, and someone actually making the booking 💀
