On Monday, you're likely going to work/school after you had a couple days to take a break. I get that this might not apply if you have an extremely busy weekend, but for the average person, the weekend is just spent chilling, catching up on chores or spending time with friends/family.
When you come in on Tuesday, however, you're coming in after having worked the previous day too. If you're a night owl like me, you struggle to get enough rest on weeknights, so you're not properly rested for work.
Wednesday at least you're halfway through the week and closer to the weekend than you are to the start of the week. Same logic applies to Thursday, and Friday is basically the weekend already. Hence, Tuesday is the worst day because you come in already exhausted and have the rest of the week ahead of you still.
