Songs should have melody and tune. I'm shocked that people judge/ like/ dislike/ opinionate/ comment on songs based only on how they read the lyrics,

Yes, this means the entire collection of some artists are only poetry at best — not music, not songs, no need to turn up the volume. Just read it on a screen in silence. LOL

It's wild that the very definition of melody is debatable. People are actually dismissing melody as a generational style. Just mind-blowing. Seems to be the popular generational opinion — that songs don't need a good tune.
