Social media can be amazing

with all the very justified trash talk about social media destroying our attention spans, cognitive sanity etc...I still believe it's amazing how we can connect with people from all over the world, understand the point of view of a 65 y.o brazilian mom or a pakistani teenager from a post or a video, see things from such wildly different perspective, discover life experience that we would have never imagined, find better support from absolute strangers than from our own relatives sometimes. If used correctly, social media is amazing.
