Smart homes sound so futuristic and so cool but in reality they often feel more annoying than convenient. Simple things like turning on a light or adjusting a fan suddenly depend on apps, voice commands, systems that don’t always work perfectly or like maybe some more complex technique. Half the time there’s a delay and sometimes ,something just doesn’t respond and what used to take a second now takes effort.
It also adds this constant layer of dependency on tech for basic tasks, which ends up feeling more frustrating than helpful. Definitely raises the hype when u think about it, but practicality.....meh.
