And I'm talking Cow's Milk, to be clear, for human consumption.

I don't know, maybe I'm just lucky in that I actually like the stuff. It's by far the best milk for drinking, I don't need to drink a bunch of fat and feel a coating in my mouth after. Some say it's so watery, yes it is and that's why it is so drinkable! It's hydrating, and seems to hold a cold temperature longer, after a few minutes of room temperature Whole Milk starts feeling pretty warm, the fat more noticeable on the tongue. For cereal, it's perfect, ice cold with the crunchy cereal, and so drinkable after. And the macros are fantastic, 80 calories and 8 grams of protein per serving? The perfect 10% ratio people look for. It's basically protein water, keeps you thin and preserves muscle, helps bones, and keeps you hydrated, these are all things people need and often don't get. It's a fantastic base for a protein shake. It's the only milk I will actually pour a glass of and drink.

Now big caveat, for cooking/baking purposes I only use Whole Milk. Those are applications where you want that full fat, why would you ever deprive yourself of that? Go all out with those recipes and use whole milk or something even fattier.

So I basically only buy Skim milk or Whole milk, I only get 1% or 2% when I have no other options (which is frequently, smaller places around me only carry 2%). I never understood why people talk about skim milk like you are punishing yourself for consuming it, as though they can't fathom that it might actually be someone's preference. People talk about it like it's a diet food that literally everyone hates, and only weirdo health-nuts endure.
