Bad script. Bad “acting” but holy hell. Steve Martin, Earth, Wind & Fire (their version of Got to Get You into My Life is amazing. I prefer Alice Cooper’s version of “Because”, Aerosmith (even all junked out) kill Come Together. The mf’ing Bee Gees. Dr. Loomis singing “I Want You (She’s so heavy), Frampton truly comes alive.
Look, I was 8 when this came out. My brothers introduced me to the Beatles prior to this so I thought I discovered gold. I collected the cards and have 2 complete sets and permanent damage to the roof of my mouth because of the gum that came with the cards. And now, at age 56, I’m introducing this to my 13 year old who asked me; “Dad what fresh hell is this?”
I know others are out there. I do not want to die on this unpopular opinion hill.
