One of my biggest pet peeves is watching people leave a table of unfinished food. I feel like it's common sense to not order more than you can eat. Unless if there was something seriously wrong with the food, then that's a different story.
Certain buffets already have this charge, why not non-buffet restaurants too? This should hopefully reduce food wastage when people go out and eat.
Or at least highly encourage taking food back home as leftovers.
