Also of the cleverness and genius I hear people talk about with Half Life 2, I don’t see it. I can understand it being a sort of tech demo for Portals physics, but by the time we get to Portal 2, anything shown in Half Life seems so insignificantly small.
Portal 1 and 2 are scientific concepts brought to life through art, Half Life 1 and 2 is an artful sci-fi story with cool physics.
