Pop/Hip Hop covers of Rock music is terrible and needs to stop.

Whenever I hear some pop version of a rock song like Sweet Child of mine or Queen's bicycle it just makes me roll my eyes. There are so many pop and hip hop songs out there, we don't need these artists covering rock and roll music. It sounds terrible, also many of these artists are only singers with no actual band around them, and don't have the skills necessary to properly recreate the spirit of these rock songs. These covers are completely devoid of soul, and are almost always just a shameless cash grab by the studio/artist. It has got to stop.
