Most people nowadays want to "get" married but haven't thought about whether they want to "be" married.

The wedding industry and social media have created a culture where young people get fixated on all of the pomp and circumstance around weddings, engagements, showers, bachelor/bachelorette parties but haven't thought through what being married to someone actually entails and the commitment that it requires.
