Needed a lot of DIY stuff and wanted to support my local mom and pop shops. But once going there i realized that they over price a lot of the stuff compared to the larger department stores. Easily double if not more. I also notice that they don't stock a lot of the stuff or if they do the one thing you need is not there or their waiting for it. As they also don't have website with online costs available or delivery its a lot harder to budget for them as well. I also largely find the prices being so much cheaper in the bigger department stores or online. I'm finding it harder to support them nowadays tbh. As a lot i also feel have this entitlement that the community should use them, but nowadays the community doesn't have the spare money to support a local store as compared to the corporate owned stores. If i want something and you are selling it for double the price, i just feel you are trying to rip the community off instead of supporting it yourself.
