I think the way men and women are built (biologically and psychologically) makes it so that modern relationships and marriage are basically impossible if both parties want to be happy. Men and women are to different in their wants and needs and neither side can get everything they want out of a single relationship/person. Quite frankly most of what we ask of our partners (outside of sexual needs) we can get from friends and familly.
Seems like the more time people spend together the more they hate eachother. I think that marriage and relationships shouldn't be put on a pedestal in ones life and should be reduced to what the role of marriage is in society. Just a way to choose a partner to have children with and raise them. Like it literally has been for milenia. Love being a part of marriage/relationships (especially romantic love) is a reletavily modern concept and i think it has cause more harm than good.
Summarised we should spend more time apart, be less love and more goal oriented in choosing our partners and should try to fulfill our (non sexual) needs elsewhere.
