I don't mean for some teenage girl who is upset because her boyfriend dumped her or something.
But lots of people's lives are completely filled with pain, both physical and mental. To the point where the only somewhat effective way to cope is lots of drugs/booze but that is either illegal or highly discouraged. And can be expensive.
Or maybe they just got a terminal cancer diagnosis and don't want to go through hell for a treatment that will almost certainly not work. Or maybe they are about to face a very long prison sentence and would rather die.
Lots of different reasons people could have to not want to exist anymore.
I'm not suicidal myself but I understand it. Life sucks for many people and there is often only one real way to stop it.
