If you have a destination weddings, you should pay for the plane ticket and hotel of the guest

It’s borederline insane to have a destination weddings and expect people to come. Especilally places out of state or worse out of country. I got invited to a destination wedding at some all inclusive in a Mexican beach area. I asked if the lodging and travel will be covered and they said no. So I said I can’t, way too expensive and can’t afford it. I would go out of state to drive and rent a motel 6 but to fly and pay for hotels and transportation seems too much. I thought people hold weddings in easy venues. Destination wedding should be a max of 4-6 guests or go alone. If you want more, you need to personally pay for all the expenses for the guests
