It’s not that clothing companies can’t add pockets—they just don’t have to. As long as people keep buying pocketless jeans, dresses, and leggings, there’s no incentive to change the design.
If enough buyers consistently chose function over aesthetics (or just refused to buy items without pockets), brands would adapt pretty quickly. They follow demand, not complaints.
This isn’t really a design limitation—it’s a market behavior issue.
