The athletic ability and technique required to score this goal is beyond that of any sports play in history. I have watched and played a ton of sports throughout my life, but Garnacho’s ability to track the ball and adjust, then rocket the ball past Pickford is outrageously impressive and difficult and superior to any other sports play. I am not referring to the “greatness” of the play, just the actual moment itself.
