Everyone gets angry when the stuff they buy from these megacorps are crap or games from AAA developers or terrible movies come out but…they just keep paying for it from the same companies year over year….
People use to vote with their wallet a lot more but modern consumerism has ruined that. As a CEO what incentive do I have to make a quality product if my user base will pay for it regardless? Then we’re shocked when products have bad build quality, games are broken on release or a subscription platform does some crazy change.
They know that no matter what they do, most of you guys will still be there, buying it. We will all complain on social media about it, but in the end we will still buy it. Complaining and reviews don’t win company favor anymore, they figured out we’re all talk. Bad reviews and complaints use to mean bad sales.
It just doesn’t anymore at the scale these companies are so you need to not let them call your bluff and stop buying from companies that screw you over.
People can’t wait for mega companies to have a miracle change of heart.its not their job to be good to you, its their job to make money.
