Chocolate ice cream is not good like 95% of the time

Almost every time I try chocolate ice cream when other people recommend it, it's always really underwhelming and I would have liked almost any other flavor more. I don't get the hype behind chocolate ice cream, but flavors like snickers or kinder bueno are imo good. The chocolate flavour is very rarely "pretty good" but it's never my first choice
