I’m a finance professional, and this is something I genuinely struggle with
I completely understand that time and expertise has value has value and effort should be compensated
But whenever I see someone financially struggling asking for help, a part of me feels uncomfortable taking money from them even when the service is legitimate and useful.
At the same time, if you keep helping everyone for free, people either don’t value the advice, or you eventually burn yourself out.
It’s a weird conflict between being practical and being human. Especially in countries like India where many people genuinely cannot afford quality guidance, but bad influencers happily exploit them without guilt.
