People praise being low maintenance like it’s a personality trait, but a lot of time it just means someone has learned to suppress their needs to avoid conflict or rejection.
Over time, that turns into resentment or emotional distance. Healthy relationships aren’t about needing less.
They’re about being able to express needs without feeling like a burden.
