I'm completely average. And I love it. I have above and below average friends and family who are just miserable for one reason or another. Too tall, too short, too smart, too dumb, too fat, too skinny, the list goes on.
I'm a relatively average 5'10, medium build, wear medium in everything, not fat, not thin, not muscular, medium shade of brown skin colour - not dark nor light skinned, I'm too smart/cowardly to take my own life, I'm too dumb/brave to take my own life. I got a standard average bachelor's degree, work an average office job, earn a decent living not high not low, sit on the fence between right and left wing politics like the average voter, sub-standard at every sport I play... The only things I have that aren't average are my perfect partner and my size 13 clown feet (not sure what happened there).
Anyway, all of this is simply to say the World feels as if it were designed around average people such as myself. I call it... Average privilege.
And yes before you ask, THAT is bang on average too. I've checked the average of the Worlds population.
