I'm a huge fan of Star Trek especially the era from 1987-2005 where much of the franchise was set around the same time period. The computer interface, LCARS, works fine on a TV show but every piece of Trek-related media from sites for things like the Star Trek Adventures character creator to games like Voyager Across the Unknown try to replicate it and it makes them borderline unusable for me. The only times I really found it adequate were Voyager Elite Force and the TNG DVD's but the former would probably have been better with some other UI and the latter are so simple it would be hard to get stuff wrong. It feels like I'm the only person who really dislikes using it though.
