I'm not a coffee snob but people look at me like I just popped my eyes out of my skull when I tell them I take the littlest bit of salt in my coffee over cream, sugar, or drinking it black. According to coffee guys on youtube, salt binds to our bitterness receptors and allows you to taste more of the coffee's natural flavor profile. It also doesn't add nearly as many calories, sugar, or fat to your coffee.
Don't knock it until you try it!
