It’s 100% okay to have your own preferences in regard to romantic relationships (as long as it’s not illegal or could cause harm). BUT I believe a lot of these standards should be kept to yourself.
For example, if a woman prefers taller men I don’t believe she should degrade short men who show interest in her. All she needs to do is politely decline and not bring his height into it. The same thing goes for a man who prefers women who are in shape. If a woman he doesn’t find attractive wishes to be romantic with him he should politely decline while not bringing her weight into it.
I have no idea why people need to be so nasty towards those they don’t deem “attractive” . Dating is hard enough let’s not hurt other people’s feelings and confidence. Again, there’s nothing wrong with having a preference we all do, but be nice to those who don’t fit your standards of beauty.
