Ryan Buttlord refers to a series of memes about a child from a 2024 candy salad video on TikTok who approaches the candy bowl and says, "My name is Ryan, I brought Nerds," which was popularly misheard as, "My name's Ryan Buttlord," due to the child's soft voice. The segment of the video, which also inspired the Anderdingus memes, saw a resurgence in virality in March 2026 via memes that prop Ryan up as the ultimate candy pourer and pit him against Anderdingus.
