The "skip intro" button on streaming services is a tragedy for show creators.

The theme song and opening credits are supposed to set the mood and get you into the headspace of the story. By skipping it, we are turning shows into just content to be consumed as fast as possible. We are losing the "ritual" of watching a great series.
