Rolex is only good to flex on poor people. Better to have an unknown Swiss expensive watch to flex on rich people

If I see someone with a Rolex I immediately assume they are a douche and only care about impressing poor people. A true rich person or someone with sense and style will pick a watch from a brand that “normies” don’t know about. Brands like Piaget, IWC, Blancpain, Jaeger Coultre etc. Rolex makes a good watch but relies so much on brand recognition vs other brands that make watches because they like making watches and are dedicated to making extremely high quality product which doesn’t come cheap. I would rather have a Blancpain where a “normie” doesn’t look at me like a douche but a rich person is like O damn this guy knows ball. Rolex is so performative.
