Whether its /r/baldursgate3 or /r/residentevil or whatever the popular new game is, there's always some random attention seeking loser trying to score internet points with their cringy cosplays. Not only are they trying to score internet points, more often than not, their trying to plug their OF on their NSFW profiles for the hundreds of brain dead coomer simps commenting on their posts. Sure some of these cosplays could be considered "impressive" or noteworthy, but I'm frankly just tired of seeing it.
Now admittedly, some gaming subreddits are more inundated with cosplay posts than others cough Bladurs gate 3 cough, but still, it's just obnoxious and boring. I feel like most gaming subreddits need to ban these types of posts and for those who GENUINELY CARE about this kind of content, make a cosplay subreddit or something and direct all that type of content that way. Shit it probably already exists.
