I think now a days most people won’t be friends with people if they don’t agree with them on politics, environment, tech… anything really
Talking with people and talking about things you disagree on can build really great friendships, if you decide it’s not your job to change peoples opinions.
Like open your horizon, get out of the confirmation bias you built for yourself.
Plus you miss out on so many wonderful people simply because you don’t agree on policy or tech or whatever it is that you stop being friends with somebody over.
People aren’t boiled down to their opinions they are far more complex.
