Batman looks better without the cape

Seriously, look up pictures of him without the cape. Truly looks like a ninja and someone that relies on stealth and skill to go unnoticed. Cannonically, it doesn't make sense that he would give his opponents a huge piece of cloth to drag him from, that makes a bunch of noise, that slows him down in the water. Batman should activate his cape when he needs to glide, but that's it.
